United-Kingdom Convertible Roof Proofer

Hi there, canny one recommend a good roof proofed for a convertible that can be had in the UK?

I'm loving the Autoglym cleaner and proofer that you get in a kit, it I'm still on the first bottle of cleaner but just opened the third bottle of proofer so I do t really want to go any spunk 30 on something I only need half of.

I have resorted to applying the proofer with a roller as I used up most of the first bottle at the first attempt, it went everywhere, paintwork, windows, I even waterproofed the dog who was out there with me.

Hi ya

I have always used 303 products or gtechniq on the gf's car

303 Products - Clean Your Car

Gtechniq I1 - Smart Fabric - Clean Your Car

I do like the gtechniq smart fabric and the c4 trim restorer is the best I have ever used for the arch trims :-)

How often are you cleaning your roof with the cleaner? I don't believe you should be doing this on a regular basis. When I wash my Mini I don't use soap on the roof and I've only used the cleaner & proofer once in 2 years.

You should be using 1/2 the bottle of proofer to treat the roof, try using a piece of cardboard to stop the overspray when you are doing the roof.

I have had the car two years and this is the 3rd time I have cleaned it using the kit. It needed it as I live on the coast and it has been used for target practice by seagulls, I washed it with a hose and sponge but it just didn't get the crap off properly. Just want to keep it looking good and ensure the water runs off it rather than soaking into the top layer.
