Langka opinions

I guess it's a bit late as I've just ordered some, but does anyone have feedback on how good Langka paint chip repairer is?

The multitude of stone chips on the bonnet need attending to and I want to do it as well as possible (I hate applying touch up paint because it always looks so obvious). Hoping it lives up to it's reputation..........anyone else use it?

Andy - with a bit of patience and practice langka does work.

i've not yet perfected the art but don't let the paint dry out too much as then it take more buffing to remove the blob.

I used it on a 4" scratch and made a reasonable go of it but to finish the job properly i used meguairs clear coat scrub to take out any light scuffing from rubbing the langka in(it isn't abrasive - i think it was the cloth) and then put a couple of coats of wax back on - unless you go close you can't realyy see the scratch.

There is an advert in this month's 'Readers offers' with the Civil Service Motoring Association magazine

£10.95 + £0.95 P&P for a 2oz (standard size) bottle. The code number is 4526. Order by calling 01926 645705 (9-5 Mon - Fri). They don't have a website.

No association with the sellers, just receive the magazine.

I just received mine direct from Langka in the US (though it was misposted to Canada at first ). Cost around £25 for the kit & postage including cleaner / primer / clearcoat etc. It may not all be necessary (buying the kit) but I thought I'd give it a go with the pukka stuff.

Have yet to try it though - need to find some spare time.

Got some last week, tryed it, liked it...it works WELL!

just take note not to rub too hard, use plenty of the stuff or else you'll end up taking of a load of OEM paint aswell, as i did! Managed to take half an inch of paint off my 5 moth old bonnet, and YES it did hurt!

Ohwell getting my 330ci on Friday!

Goodluck and remeber the above.

I hesitate to ask if you're sure But all the literature states that this is impossible - plus you'd have to go through the clearcoat as well!

I actually had a first attempt at mine today. There's definitely a trick to it - probably related to how long you leave the paint before rubbing it down - and with very small chips it's easy to drag the paint back out . But my first ham fisted attempts have worked better than if I hadn't used it so all in all I'm quite happy and will continue using it

330ci eh Danko - you lucky, lucky........
