Maintenance Manual

Is there a place other than Mini that one can purchase the Maintenance Manual that the Mini dealers use? I have bought one for every car I own and no, not the Chilton or other generalized ones....

The cost for the dealer ones are well worth the price.

thanks Paul. Once I put this on here it jumped me to others asking the same question.

Just to add....a friend of mine works for BMW and I have asked him if he can get the service manuals. However if its like the normal BMW's everything now comes on a disk and no manual. All the techs have computers at thier workstations and everything is downloaded for them for any vehicle.

I will awiat his word once he gets back to New York.

One can get the BMW TIS cd-rom (10/2002 covers MC,
MCS to early 2003 model, and a zillion BMW models), but
it is expensive, incomplete and has only the most basic
of pictures and info. Some hints and diagnostic searches,
some torque settings, some references to tools needed. I haven't seen the ETK (part catalog).

I have gone over the TIS again and found there is more
repair info on it than I previously thought. It remains
a bit difficult to navigate and I still find it somewhat
disappointing.

Does anyone know if there is a manual for the british market
I've looked on minitechinfo.com but you have to pay $20 to get any where on the site and I can't make any sense of it anyway.

I need the manual to replace the bumper.
