Question How to replace the valve crankcase membrane/ventilation

Hi guys!

I'm trying to replace this membrane:

But the cover doesn't come out. Anyone here made the replacement? What is the trick to take that cover off?

When my car is cold in neutral it is whistling. The noise stops immediately after removing the oil filling cap or the dipstick. I can feel positive pressure coming out when the cap is off. My first shot is replace that membrane.

Car: 2012 Cooper S R56 N18

Anyone can help me? I can't see what I'm doing wrong. If I apply more force it will break

Ps.: sorry for my english i'm not a native english speaker
my theory is they have made it in such a way that breaking it will happen more times than not, some force off dont break some/most break the clips off. cheap repair is use use tiger seal around it leave it for a few hours to set, better option is buy a new rocker cover or membrane and plastic part. i would check your pipes to induction part of inlet manifold seen these crack

I opened it! The membrane was torn. I replaced it and the problem was solved.

It is difficult to open without knowing where the clips are. Just forcing you can brake some clips. I was lucky!
