Bugs Stain

After a long drive to Jasper in Canada. I got about millions of dead mosquito, bees, moths and all sorts of bugs on the front end, windshield and side mirror.

I got the 3M Stoneguard installed. I have cleaned my car today, getting rid most of them already, but there is some yellow stain left on the side mirror. The stain is on the urethane film, I have tried Turtle Wax bugs removing solution but it doesn't work. Anybody got any suggestion?

Never mention there is over 30 of them trapped in the intercooler and radiator totally.

Have you asked the people at Canadian Tire or Lordco? They should give you a good advice on how to remove it. The worst case is to get a clay bar (which is expensive tho) which removed some bad spray paint on my MINI earlier too. Good luck!

I´ve used Turtle´s with very good results.
I guess Canadian bugs are more stubborn than Swedish bugs...

the problem is, its on the film instead of metal. I think that makes the difference

I get the feeling that the 3M film is somewhat porous. I've got StonGard (9 mil. 3M material) and haven't noticed any yellowing. But then, I've not driven through much bug-infested areas (SF to Vancouver don't count :-)
