TLC Service

Just picked my car up from the dealer after second service - i.e. 1st inspection - cost absolutely nothing!!!! How good is this TLC thing.

Boss had the same service today on his M3 cost £680-00 at the same dealer!!!

Not only do we have the best car on the road but also the cheapest to run!!!

Yep, without TLC I probably would NOT have bought a MINI since I was scared of the service costs.

That's the reason they introduced TLC - because potential MINI buyers were concerned about the BMW costs of servicing/labour etc. which are extortionate - and sadly not that much better than the rest!

I hope they don't change my filter - it's a K & N one! :P

Hope they see the sticker I've put on there!

They should notice that the clamp on the air-box hose is a screw one rather than the normal one though?? They can't be that thick?

I've found mine are pretty good with mods and things - i.e. they noticed that the heat sheild around my new exhaust had become dislodged and fixed it without a problem. They could have said 'get lost' its an aftermarket exhaust.

We have just had an oil and filter change carried out by the dealer. It cost us £77. According to the invoice, the oil alone cost £50 with the filter costing pennies. I thought £77 was quite reasonable considering the type of oil.

You sure they haven't put Tesco's super lube in for you

Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40
