Very weird this. Searched for similar threads but not found anything as yet.
Not long after we got the car we noticed some small marks on the drivers seat. The missus accused me of eating in the car

but I hadn't as the car is our first brand new car we're being paranoid about getting it mucky
The marks cleaned off with a damp cloth, but over the last few days, we noticed more white marks appearing on the drivers seat.
We are 100% sure that we've not spilt or dropped anything on the seat. We've even resorted to changing our clothes before using the car in an effort to find where these marks come from. Yesterday we checked the seat, drove the car 50 miles, left it all day and when we came back to the car there was a white mark that looked like a liquid had been on the seat. The curved white streak suggested the fluid was wiped across the seat by my wife's trousers as she got out of the car.
The car has been Supaguarded (we were offered the Supaguard treatment for free), so the only thing we can think of is the heat from our bums

is bringing something out of the seat and it's drying white. If this is the case though, I don't understand why it only happens on the drivers seat.
The marks don't smell of anything, it doesn't transfer to my finger and each time the mark cleans off ok with a damp cloth, but I'd really like to know why it's happening.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Neil
