United-States Interior cleaning question

What is everyone using to clean the interior of their car

Various plastic pieces?? Including the ones that the paint rubs off of if you look at them wrong

Vinyl??

If I have a leather steering wheel is JUST the round outer edge leather and the inside vinyl??

Is the gear shift and emergeny brake vinyl??

Thanks for the help

Randy

lots of different things you can use for the leatherette, currently I am using armor-all since I have a lot laying around ... some use 303 aerospace protectant, some use Mequires products.

The 303 Aeorspace Protectant works great. Gives the vinyl seats and dash top a nice depth. I also use it on the black bits on the exterior. I just use a damp cloth on the plastic stuff inside the car.

303 for anything with a textured surface or vinyl, Plexus for all shiny plastic, including clear guage covers and navigation system LCD screen. Lexal for real leather.

Lexal's Vinylex is OK in a pinch, but it too shiny for my tastes. Stay away from Amor-all; it can stain clear plastic guages and isn't good for the long-term longevity of plastic.
