Offline | Drain Plug Gasket If this has been asked then please dont bash me. I tried a search and no luck. My question is does the rubber gasket on the drain plug need to be replaced at each oil change? I just noticed it today and didnt have another so I just left it and filled it up with new oil. My next service is at 7,000 miles so between now and then if I leak I will just top off, but was wondering is it part of the plug or does it actually come off? I picked at it a bit but it was on there real good and since I didnt have another I didnt bother it too much. Thanks all. |
