Any suggestions for removing pen ink?

There's about a one-inch pen mark (blue Bic ball-point FWIW) on the inside column that goes from the ceiling to the dashboard. Does anyone have a good tip on how to remove this? I tried a diluted spritz of Zaino wash, but that didn't do anything. Thanks

There are two products that "claim" to remove ink. Lift Off 3 and Goof Off, I can not recommend either from experience. You might also try "rubbing alcohol" or "denatured alcohol" since it is on plastic. Good Luck!

here's a previous post that addresses a similar problem (ink on headliner)
I had good experience with carbona wizard wipes (post#12).

Ink, dirt, etc....try soft artist's erasers. They have worked on the MINI for me more than a couple of times.

If it's on the headliner cloth itself - over here in the uk we have a product called Detol which is a concentrated anti-septic (brown liquid) placed neat onto cotton wool and dabbed on the the ink should remove the mark - will leave a "surgical" smell for a while though.
