The OEM plug NGK BKR6EQUP is a four electrode design that is meant to be
gapped like a conventional plug. The gap(s) look(s) to be a couple mm.
When I switched to iridium ik20's, I (carefully) regapped them to .032" (0.8mm).
I think the denso iridiums are a tad better than the stock plugs, but it's probably a very
small difference. ik20's are the direct replacement, but some use ik22's (one step colder
plug) on heavily modified MCS's.
Hi, i think you will find that the NGK plugs have a preset gap, they are not adjustable. I went on the NGK website ages ago and am sure that is what they said. If you find a local stockist of NGK plugs, who is good, they should be able to verify that. Hope this helps, Damian. P.S. NGK plugs are good, used them in my Primera for 12 years, never had any problems !!
