Extra Gloss never ceases to amaze me. My car looks FABULOUS everytime I use it.

Try leaving a good three hours before you polish off for each coat. The gloss is so heavy you feel like you could dip your hand in the paint!

Extra Gloss is only as good as the paint and/or polish it covers but as no
MINI is old enough not to clean up well that shouldn't be an issue for the
MINI community. I found it useless on an old car with or without polishing
first so it's no miracle product. I'm happy to use it on my EB MINI

The difference between using only Super Resin only and Super Resin and Extra gloss is remarkable.... Cannot be glossier than that, full stop. Meguiars, Zanio,etc.... All good (from what I hear) and I'm sure they will come out with 99% similar results, won't mind using any of them but swear by Autoglm.

Hi,
dont get me wrong....Autoglm is very good.
But,you WILL get better results with less effort and in half the time with Meguiars.
Give it a go....i will be amazed if you go back.
Andy.

I'm using Meguiars Gold Class Wax and the results are good. I have to say however that the Extra Gloss stuff from Autoglym is the easiest ever product to use. I find the Meguiars Wax hard work in comparison.

Auto glym is addictive. I started off with the £10 kit and now have about 75% of the range and I am really pleased with the results. I am going to try alloy wheel seal this weekend.

Highlights for me are the air freshener as it makes it smell dealership new and not like a bunch of flowers or an ice cream van. Also the bumper black and the alloy wheel cleaner work well. Also I know its old fashioned but I like purchasing a product that is developed and made in Britain and is of good quality. (A bit like the mini I guess - I know its owned by the Germans).

Even though it has the royal warrant on the packs I can't see queenie scrubbing her horse drawn carriage with Auto Glym !!!!!!

I used Meguiars quick detailing spray today after washing (my car I mean, I was filthy at the time) and holy shnikeys!! I have never used this kind of product before, and wow, what a shine! I think I will try the Autoglym stuff though since everyone seems to rave about it. It is available in Canada.

You can't really spot the difference from the finish of any decent car wax/polishes and paint protectors. The main differences are in the ease of use and whether or not that they are actually good for your paintwork.

Autoglym Super Resin is great with Extra gloss protection, I for one used to swear by the Autoglym range. That is until I was told about the way that Super Resin is actually an abrasive polish, which means that each time you use it, you lose a little bit of paint from your beloved MINI.

Not so good now is it?!

My new car care products of choice are Meguiars. Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Wax gives a brilliant glossy finish and totally safe for your paintwork.

You can buy them online from www.cleanandshiny.co.uk

I'm with Monsta now. I use Meguiars, and I can't wait to use their new NXT products.
