 Windscreen repair Is it possible to repair small chips in windscreens as mine has a few and they are reely bugging me to the point I might have to get myself a new windscreen.    |

| It is possible, and you might be able to get your insurers to pay for it! (Saves the cost of replacing the entire screen). But on Shetland? Err ... Take a look at the RAC windscreen repair page, the FAQ's might help. |

| Re: Windscreen repair in that case, a "vandal" should tap it gently with a hammer so that you can claim on your insurance rather than paying full whack! kjs |

| Windscreen Chips and Insurance Most insurers will pay the full cost of repairs to (rather than replacement of) windscreens without applying any excess. And it doesn't affect NCD. Check your policy. |
