Question First car wash and wax question

I washed and waxed my car for the first time last week..i've had the car for 3 weeks, plan to was again in 4 days.

I applied the wax with the supplied sponge. I remove the wax with a Terry Cloth. When I remove the wax it still feels like there is a coat on the car, slippery, is that they way it is ? or I need to remove harder...whats the trick.

The coat you feel is the wax - that's how it should feel - that is the protective layer which keeps all the nasties at bay!

The test for whether or not you need to wax the car again is after washing and drying the car - take a clean terry towel and fold it to a wad - place on the surface of the car and if it sticks and squeaks then it's time to wax again!

Thanks, I will check soon, it just rained yesterday and I have some "rain dirt" in the lower part of my car.
