Talking Keep Clean!

When I receive my car I think I shall invest in one of these packs:

Bought One

Yeah, bought the very same pack the day I got Michael. I would say that its probably worth the money. Though I'm not too sure about the washing liquid.

However, the one thing not included in there was something for cleaning and polishing chrome. Any suggestions of products for that particular job?

With summer fast approaching, I need shiny chrome for summers' days. Nothing looks better.

Cool, thanks Smiffy. Y'know I thought they would have a chrome product but couldn't find one in any of the shops I tried. I'll search again.

Autoglym chrome polish

I looked at this shortly after I got mine, but I seem to remember it having a warning on the pack about not using it on chromed plastic...

Indie Blue/White Cooper ordered - Expecting Late March... hang on - make that mid March.

No, wait - it's here!!!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo!!!

Yup, all the exteror chrome parts are plated plastic - DO NOT USE chrome cleaner/polish on these, or you will be through to the plastic in no time. Normal car polish is much less abraisive and will work just fine on the MINI's chrome

You gotta drive it like you stole it!!

This is one of the best car care articles I have seen.

Some of the items seem unusual but may have Eyro equivalents.

Question

Where do you get that AutoGlym pack and how much does it cost..?
Does anyone know if AutoGlym is widely available in the USA..? I used to use it all the time in the UK, but I haven't seen it here. I'm going to the UK in the summer so I can pick some up if someone can tell me where to get it.
