Offline | Clear bra and door cups. . . I am going to have the clear bra installed on the front of my '05 MCS. My question, has anyone here had the clear bra product installed on the door cups? If so, did it help/is it needed, or was it a waste? If you don't have it, do you have an issue with any scratches or anything in the door handle area? Do you wish you had the door cup protection installed? Thanks!!! 2005 DS/B MCS G Stock |

| M5 Extraordinare! | I dont have the clear bra installed on my MINI and no scratches from finger nails so far... 1.5 years... I think its due to how the door opens. I have TONS of scratches on the Camry but none on the MINI. But if it doesnt cost a lot then go for it. |

Offline | Thanks EB! Tell me more about those removeable stripes. On your sig it shows you have X-Pel clear bra, but in your response you state you don't have it. I'm assuming you meant you don't have the clear bra on the door cups? Just wondering. ![]() 2005 DS/B MCS G Stock |

| M5 Extraordinare! | Here, post 18 has all the info on how to get the stripes. http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30330&onlybyuserid=0&page=1&pp=15 &highlight=magnetic+stripes Ya I ment I didnt get the clear bra on the door cups. I have the clear bra on the bumper, hood, all lights, side mirrors, and door edges. I still have enough material to apply to the top of the rear bumper but I never found the need to. (*My installer gave me extra for me to play around with*) |

| MINI2 Regular | I have the clear door cup protector on my MCS. You notice them and I'm not sure they do much. Previously I had a MC (2 years) without door cup protection and didn't notice anything scratching up there. I'm not sure they are worth it. ____________________ Indi Blue Cooper (Mostly Loaded) Arrived 06/07/02 Left 07/13/04 and was replaced by: Indi Blue Cooper S (Fully Loaded) |
