United-Kingdom door protectors

has anyone out there know of anywhere i can get my hands on a pair door protectors, you know the things i mean, go on the edge of the door prevents chips! the ones i am looking for i have seen on a mini where quite small and discreet(unlike those you see in halfords ect.) and had a union flag .looked good quality but was hard to tell as the mini i saw them on was flying past me near ringwood at the time. any ideas. thx

Had mine done at the same time as my clear bra.

You can also order 3M Scotchcal strips in varying sizes:

I'm afraid i'm a cheap skate so i got some door edging from Wilkinsons for a couple of quid,it comes on a roll and you cut to length.I will say i could only see this being relatively invisible on black MINIs cos it only comes in black.......now what am i going to do with my PW september delivery MINI ONE.Hopefully you can see it in the photo.Judging by the scuffs on it ,it must be doing it's job.

The Scotchcal stuff looks the best solution to me. Don't bother with the plastic door edge protectors - they wreck the paint underneath. What happens is tiny bits of dust etc get trapped underneath and with the vibration of the air as the car moves they etch their way into the paint. No matter how careful you are you end up with unsightly marks on your door edges.

Any hints on what to order off the Scotchcal site?? It looks from MINIAC's piccies like its on the full length of the door... but as I don't have my MCS (yet) I think they might think I've flipped if I go round to the dealers and get my tape measure out to measure the doors ;-)
