Cloth Seats & Cleaning

I did a search and checked the FAQs with no luck but still I apologize if this is a repeat. If so, point me.

I'm looking for the best uphostelry cleaner for space cloth seats. My dealer uses something called GP but it comes in 55 gallon drums or something ridiculous like that.

Anyone out there have fine results with a product? Thanks. BTW, just stuff I can get in US, please. I know you guys over there, you'll tell me to rub the cloth with dried spotted

Lawdy, Lawdy, the Cross I bear.

Resolve works quite well.
The powdered cleaner is handy on the horizontal parts and dries quickly.
I've also used ArmorAll fabric cleaner.

If you're worried about anything try it on an old house chair/sofa first. Then use it on the car

There is a product called the "Green Machine" made by Bissell. It's a small portable uphostry/carpet cleaner. The one we have works great on my spacecloth.

Thanks, guys

Obie, are you sure you aren't my older brother? You've got good answers for all my questions, all the time. Thank you, bud. (You do NOT want to be older than I, BTW)

Tom, I have a deep hatred for Bissell having had 2 full size carpet cleaners the bad, each within weeks of the warranty's end with no satisfaction from customer service. But I'll maybe try the hand accessory on the Eureka I have. Thanks to you, also.

BTW, I will order spacecloth the next time too. I still prefer it to the other 2 choices, just 32k miles = a need for refreshing.

That's funny since MY older brother is like Jeopardy Boy or something.

You want to be carefull with the power cleaners. They can penetrate the cloth inot the batting and the foam core. The cleaner can dry up in there and cause long term problems.
My suggestion is hand clean the cloth and then use the wet vac aspect to just lift the crud out. And yes, you can oversaturate by hand as well.
IMO the newer fabric protectants work well. Once the seats clean, treat them.
You will be without the car for a day so plan on it.
