| HELP! - What grade of gearbox oil? Hi all, I'm looking at changing oil in a Midlands 5sp manual (after toasting a couple of CV joints and doing a driveshaft change). It's recommended to catch the oil and put it back in, but I"m not entirely confident with that. Question is, what grade of oil is meant to go in there? Can't find info anywhere. Don't want to go after market due to possible complications with syncros etc, but Castrol has a couple of products that fit the BMW description, just need to know the correct grade (chances are Castrol make the genuine stuff anyway). Any help would be appreciated. And before you say just get the genuine stuff, it's $500AU for a 20 litre drum, and I only need 2! Thanks, dsakko.  R56 MINI Cooper S JCW Challenge  |
