Tree sap removal

Any suggestions for removing small spots of tree sap from the 05 MCS?

Thanks,
Peter

Fingernail polish remover is usually acetone based (there are some non acetone ones) If you really want to fu** up your paint use acetone

The commercial bug & tar products are ok and plain alcohol will do in a pinch. Immediately rinse with water and then at least spot wax the area.

I park my car under an 80' pine tree daily. It's over my driveway. ( $1200 to have it cut down so you know why it's still there )

I probably remove a pound of bird ***** and tree sap from my car each year. The car still looks good and it's almost 3 years old so what I'm suggesting has some experience behind it.
