Offline | Just a thought ... no one ever mention TURTLE WAX ?! Hmmm ... I've been reading over many threads and discussion about the BEST product to use for our MINIs. But to my surprise I haven't come across anyone mentioning TURTLE WAX as the product they use nor heard any feedback from any user ..... is there something worng here ? ... I've been using turtle wax products ( Wash, Wax, Polish ) for 8 yrs now and I love it ... Now that I got my new mini and been hearing all the GOOD comment about Megurier's NXT wax And wash products, I went out to my local auto shop and bought a whole line up of products... so I guess I'll have to see which brand works better... I personally tried the Megurie Quick Wax and the TURTLE WAX Ultra Gloss on my New Mini ... and It seems that the Turtle wax one gives more GLossy shine than the QUICK WAX .. Hmmm ...what should I do ... 2005 HB/HB MCSA !! ALL the package... ALL the Fun .. ALL the time !!! |

Offline | Wasn't there something out there about the NXT wax being decidedly bad for the vinyl stripes. I can't remember where I saw that, but I think I remember somebody saying that they hadn't read the directions and that it ruined their stripes. And for what it counts..... order Zaino. Expensive, yes, but also totally worth it. $40 would get you well on your way. |

Offline | Hi! We need to compare apples to apples. Zaino and Klasse are acrylic based. Very tough, nice, long lasting, etc. NXT is similiar. Autoglym's Super resin is in this category as well. Is the Turtle wax carnauba based? Carnauba waxes give a very deep look, but rarely last a month. What some folks do is use the acrylic polishes as a base, then top off with a carnuaba wax such as P21S or Pinnacle. Check out detailing forums such as autopia.org for more info. I use Klasse AIO and SG. I am very satisfied with the results. hey, duard |
