Coolant Level's

hi all

I have a little bit of an issue with my car. I've openned up the bonnet of my car and saw that the coolant level is below the MIN Section of the reservoir. And the color of the coolant is brown not green.

What should i do?

please help,
Eric

U can try

..to fill it up again to the Max level with coolant fluid and see if it stays there. If it drops again something is wrong. I had too little fluid in mine so I filled it up to Max and it has been ok since then.

The advise below is good as per the Factory Service manual. Start up the car, top off up to the Max level, leave it idle, if level drops keep adding until it stabilizes. Drive it for a few days and check it again.
PLEASE NOTE: Level varies if car is hot or cold. MINI level should be checked HOT! (Meaning normal operating temp)
Hope this helps
