Offline | A few people have stated that their dealership will still honour TLC even though they have had non-works conversions. This appears to be on a person-to-person decision by the dealership. I thought I would contact my dealer, put my case, and see what they decided. Here is their response: I have spoken to MINI GB with regards to your enquiry as to whether they would consider paying for your vehicle's inspection one service. Unfortunately because your car has been fitted with non-approved parts, MINI GB will not participate towards the cost of this service. I explained that in your letter people at the MINI2 forum have stated that some dealres will honour TLC with modified components. This however is incorrect and if any of these dealers were to be audited BMW GB would fine them very heavily. I apologise if I have now screwed TLC for everyone... ![]() |

Offline | Probably shot myself in the foot with this one - I bet the dealership gave MINI GB my registration number from their records (I never told the dealership my reg., but they put my reg. on the reply they sent me!). |
