AHHH DANG !!!!! I just washed my MINI this morning and again I'm finding more swirl marks on the hood !!!!! let me get to some details to the possible cuz and please give me some suggest for help .. thanks ..

1) I bought a SIMILATED LAMB WOOL wash mitten because I wanted my mini to have a brand new washing tool instead of use the old sponge that I used on my 5 series...used it twice . and always washed after use and DUnk in soap water in between wash to get rid of dirty
2) I do rinse my car first before I wash
3) I bought a new simoniz Microfibre drying cloth... just used now ... Tag were cut off ..
4) I use meguiars MF towel to apply QuikDetail onto my MINI every now and then ..

SO whats wrong .. ??? is it the LAMB WOOL MITT ???

Id say it was your microfibre cloth , personally a real chamois is the best .

I have had much better luck with a real chamois. I have one of the microfiber ones and I now use it on my wheels....

(on my BMW 540.... haven't ordered my MINI yet)
