Maintaining the black A-Piller Cover !

Just how on earth do I clean or detail the black A-piller part of the MNI ( the two panel on each side of the window ) ... is it painted black ? or just plastic ??

My problem is that I got alot of swirl marks on the piller and I'm totally lost in how to remove those marks if I don't know what kind of surface they are ? paint or plastic or something else ??

thanks

Well its not to the point where I have to replace it ... just that I have both the meguiar's swirl remover and the Plast-X ... just don't know which one to use to eliminate the the swirls ...

Swirl remover will probably not work.
A good plastic polish will help. Use straight up and down strokes. They leave less noticeable marks if any are left.

I use 303 Aerospace and it works very well in helping their appearance.
