You'll have to get him to "show you how to use it" as well. Being a pro and everything! (While you sit back, have a cuppa, and watch and learn).

Don't know where is cheaper to buy the refills cos as yet i haven't really been looking, but i did happen upon some in Wilkinsons(Wilko) the filter which came with my kit states that it was for three uses only but the one i spotted in Wilkinsons says its for 10 uses and was £4.95 ,the shampoo was about three times the size of the one that came with the kit and was £3.95,So now we have to find out who else sells it and how cheap we can buy it.At first it seems a little costly but by the time you have bought a chamois and normal shampoo and polish and then spent all day on the car(i know alot of people aren't adverse to this) it doesn't seem to bad value.I will still use my Meguiars when i want to do a really good job but this is a good quick fix for when you haven't got the time to spend on your beloved(your car).

That's a good price! £25 is the r.r.p. and even Costco can't match that, they are selling it for £23.49 inc VAT!

I tried mine today, or should I say my son tried it and I have to say it does what it says Minnie is one gleaming clean car today.....shame it's going to rain any second now

Wow, bought one this afternoon and just tried it. Had a few neighbours staring at my car as it dried to see if it worked. MINI loved the attention and looks great. It took virtually no time at all! I for one will pay for the extras if it means I don't have to use that chamois. If your considering buying one I'd go for it.

I'm glad I came across this thread. I've been wondering if it's any good! I may invest in one and just use it on those days when I want to give the MINI a quick wash.

I saw the Flash car cleaner today in Savers (The cheap chemist type store) and it was £18.99. This is the cheapest I have seen so far.

I thought I would let anyone know who does not have access to a store selling the Flash Car System...
For the fun of it, I thought I would try the Mr Clean Auto-Dry System that WalMart sells. (It was less than $30.00 for the kit) Believe it or not...it WORKS! Now I don't have access to the Flash system for a side-by-side comparison, but I'll be darned if it didn't leave my car clean with NO water spots or streaks! So if you don't have a way of buying the Flash Car System, give the Auto-Dry system from Mr. Clean a try.
I'm not totally insane...I tried it out on my Intrepid BEFORE I used it on our MINI. Total time for both cars: 1 hour. Not bad.

I bought one of these yesterday but found the shampoo part didn't really work. Is it supposed to get really soapy because I can barely see and suds in it, it just comes out like water?

I swapped it for another one but that is the same.
