Offline | Best all in one polish/wax for new mini is? Best all in one polish/wax for new mini Hi, I am going to take delivery of my Mini within the next week(Its finally on US soil yay!) and I am trying to figure out which all in one polish/wax i should use. I do not have the time to do carnauba wax all the time so I need to go synthetic ( I leave the country regularly and my mini may have to sit outside) soo I have narrowed it down to Klasse All-In-One and Stoner Polish & Seal. What are peoples feelings about these two ? Also, does the MINI dealer or factory put any wax on the car to start off with that I need to take off with a clay bar? Thank you for your help! |

Offline | My MINI hasn't arrived yet (this week I hope!) but I used Klasse All-In-One on my Passat and it was fantastic! On my MINI I'll use Klasse All-In-One and Sealant Glaze and top it off with some P21S carnuba wax for some extra depth and shine. |

| Dead Man's Curve? Feh. | Check out Autopia, a site dedicated to fanatical and obsessive car cleaning. There's more information there than you need (or want), and the participants can be opinionated, but you should get a good idea of how the various products stack up. |

Offline | Perfect recommendation there I've got AIO & P21S on my car and it looks excellent.Given the person asked what is the best all in one they could just use Klasse All-in-one or something Meguiars NXT Tech wax. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | It is a dream to use. Just apply (wipe on in straight lines) not too much with the sponge supplied and then wipe right off. No need to let haze over or anything. It won't stain your trim white or anything. Ideally you should apply every month but protection problably lasts up to 3 months especially during the summer months. If you want longer protection put something on underneath like Klasse AIO, Autoglym EGP etc. I also have the P21S paintwork cleanser to prep the surface before applying the wax for the first time. You wouldn't need this if you used some form of polish before applying the wax but it does work well. Ideally use the cleanser, a sealant and then the wax. Klasse AIO would do a cleansing, polishing, sealing all in one step though. Anyone interested in Klasse All-in-ONE or their Sealant Glaze can get it now from Alex at www.seriousperformance.co.uk It might not be on the website yet so just email him to ask. |

Offline | jonw, I notice you leave the AIO until it hardens. I applied by wiping on and off without allowing it to dry beforehand as that it what it advises on the bottle. Are there any advantages of allowing it to dry? Is it not harder work to remove than wiping it right off straight away? |

Offline | I like to let it set up because it seems to wiipe off easier....less streaking. Plus I have heard it "bonds" better when it sits for a little while. I wouldnt let it sit over night, but 20 to 30 minutes works everytime for me. Jon decocarcare. |

Offline | I too use Klasse AIO and sealant on my Mini and Audi and their instructions say in their kit says to wipe on and right off with AIO and let the sealant stay on for a while(even overnight) before removing. They also suggest dampening the applicator with a quick detailer instead of water. If you get any streaking spray on quick detailer and remove. I then add 3 coats of P21S at least 24 hours apart. I repeat 2x a year, P21S 1x a month and Sonus quick detailer after almost every weekly washing. My cars look AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Mini is red and Audi is navy. Jerry |
