Steering Wheel, Interior Side Panels Dull & Dusty

Before I got a MINI I just used Armour All for all interior cleaning and protectant. Don't know why.. But now it does NOT look like it's a favorite of many mini owners. So what is recommended for the interior side panels, steering wheel and dash. My mini is has the leather package. Guess that means I'll need to clean both real leater and leatherette. Do you use the same thing on both leather and leatherette? Or, do they require different products? The inside already looks dirty and dusty, plus it almost looks kinda a dull, dusty, powery, like fingerprints on the inside door panels. I'm embarrassed to have anyone look inside. It's been at the shop for days now and I guess too many techs in and out trying to fix things. Interior doesn't have that new and fresh look. Mini is only 2 weeks old. Advice please?

Lexol makes both a cleaner and conditioner for leather. They also make Vinylex for use on vinyl, rubber and plastic surfaces ...

Vinelex is a great choice for interior plastic and rubber bits. Also good: the rubber/plastic treatment from Zaino and 606 Aerospace protectant.

For the exterior rubber bits, I was recently put onto Meguiars #40, which lasts longer on the outside than the options above.

Hi

I still use Armour All on the inside of my mini after using it for years on other cars. I use it for the dashboard and all non leather trim. I use Autoglms leather treatment for the leather parts of my car. Once done the car always looks like new again

I have found the secret of using this product over the years is to use it sparingly on a small sponge so it only cleans and leaves nice sheen.

I have also found it cleans and blacks up the plastic wheel arches very quickly and easily.

It also blacks up the tires nicely and makes them look like new, with none of that artificial look some products leave

Happy cleaning
