Cooper S Bra reccomendations

I have just ordered a new mini cooper s but delivery is not untill october.
Has anyone tried the bra things for the front end to protect the paint (not the stick on type)

I was considering one and just wondering if they are any good and which ones are better than others?

any help would be nice.

I think they all work pretty much the same way, sits on the front of the car hiding its good looks, and trapping stones that then rub on the paint work under the bra, causing paint damage

I've seena few different designs and was wondering if anyone could reccomend one really.

are they that bad fit that they actually allow stones under them?
I don't think i'll bother then because the only time i'd use it was when the gritter lorries are out on the roads.

thats just the opinions I got from others when I looked into getting one, as I think stone chips are something that bothers all of us, just doesn't seem to be an ideal solution out there.

I have a Coglan 2 piece bra that I use on club runs and long freeway trips and am very pleased with it. As others have stated, there are certain cautions to be aware of when using this type of bra. Make sure both bra and car are clean before putting it on ( it also helps if the wax is fresh) and don't leave it on for weeks at a time otherwise grit will get behind it and scratch the paint. Also you can't leave it on it the rain. If you're stuck away from home in the rain and don't want to put a sopping wet bra in the boot, remove it as soon as possible and let it dry really well before using it again.

The price was $98 from Mini Mania here in the US. It fits very tightly. In fact when you first attempt to put it on you'll probably think it's to small !! But no fear it will stretch and fit like a second skin Takes about 5 minutes to put on and less than that to remove. I took this option instead of the clear stuff because I didn't like the line and the fact that if you look at the clear with polarized sun glasses on, the paint underneath the clear looks discolored It's saved the front of my chili red 03 Mini countless stone chips and I'd recommend it to anyone
