Wheel Weights

One of my rear wheels doesn't have one of those little weights on it for balancing the wheel. only just noticed it when cleaning today.

I'm guessing these things don't just fall off, so does it just mean that the wheel didn't need any balancing?

Seems a little strange that the wheel whouldn't have any balancing weights but if you can't feel it I guess it didn't need any.

Did you check inside the wheel? Sometimes the wheel doesn't need any on the outside, but might need one or two on the inside.

Or... that wheel just might not have needed any.

If you have any doubts (or vibrations ), get it checked. I don't know if they have them in the UK, but the Hunter GSP-9700 does an excellent job at balancing and correcting vibrations.
