Offline | Using T-CUT Metallic??? I've got a few light scratches on my car. Has anyone had experience in applying/using T-CUT metallic? I don't wanna mess it up. regards Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |

Offline | I've just got a bottle of "T-Cut Metallic Colour Restorer" from my friend. The plastic bottle is blue in colour and the brandname is "Carplan". Is it the same as yours? My friend said it has been useful to remove stain on his silver GOLF GL, which was cause by water dripped from rusty pipes. I intend to use T-Cut to get rid of dirt on the white side of the side mirrors. |

Offline | No, mines a burgundy coloured bottle with T-Cut Metallic written on it. It's quite similar to T-Cut Original Colour Restorer. Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |

| Man in the know! | Kinster....thats the proper one I have used it on my indi blue. It is very good at getting rid of light scratches, but dont use it too regularly, as it actually takes paint off, and always wax afterwards. I usually try and wax a scratch out before resorting to T-Cut. |

Offline | Itchy & Scratchy Kinster That T Cut is Ok, But I've found with other cars ( Not got Cooper just yet ) the Coloured Polish works well and this does not remove paint Best Of Luck |

Offline | cheers, I'll think I'll go for the Colour Polish as I don't want the colour to come off. Off to halfords to get the dark blue. Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |

| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | Kinster, I have a Black and white Cooper (soon to be S), I use Turtle Wax metallic black polish. The stuff is brilliant mate! It's abrasive, so you have to give it some elbow grease when applying to you freshly cleaned Mini! It takes out minor scratches easily, but it somehow smells of old ladies...kind of a retirement home! Try it, you won't be disappointed. It also came with a chipstick (kind of a lipstick, but for deeper scratches etc...) Just apply to scratched area and rub in with a clean polish cloth, looks brilliant! They have loads of brilliant products, they have just introduce clean wipes for your mini! www.turtlewax.com Alex. Black and White Cooper here, soon to be an Electric Blue & White S, with the WORKS!! |

| MINI2 Master (Oh Wow!) | Kinster, My mum is getting the fully loaded S in Speptember, when she is selling her 330ci cabriolet. In March she has an M3 convertible coming, so I am selling my cooper and buying the S off my dad. My mum would have done about 2000 miles (if that) by then! So it still would not have been properly run in! My mum never even drives over 40mph! My only problem is the S is in Elec blue and white. I am desperate to have a Black and white S, and chrome it up! so I may sell it in Mrch when it's in my name! I already have my Hamann wheels (check out my gallery), and I recently cancelled my Hamann kit for the Cooper, so I can put it on my S! Will be amazing! any advice on selling the elec blue S? cheers, alex. ![]() Black and White Cooper here, soon to be an Electric Blue & White S, with the WORKS!! |
