10,000 miles!

Just got back from a 3,500 mile road trip from Minneapolis to Tucson and back. The MINI 10,000 mile mark was reached somewhere in New Mexico (see picture). Best mileage was 36.5mpg with AutoAir on and cruize control. We ran 80-90 MPH for hours at a stretch. Handling was awesome on the open road. Invisishield saved major damage from trucks and bugs. Got my 10,000 mile check-up when we got home. No issues, perfect performance, could not be happier. Motor on.

Miles go fast!

I got mine in January and we had a bunch of snow here...but once it thawed out, I started to look for places to drive to, with windy roads. I kept it to day-trips, but had a blast exploring the area and learning how the MINI handled the road. Plus, I must admit, I now take the longer ride-if it's a nicer drive, instead of the quickest route.

Plus, you'll hardly see me driving anything else, unless we're buying furniture or something!

The miles add up quick-but so does the fun!

I agree, the miles are gaining on me. I have had mine for about 6 months now and I will hit
10,000 by the end of this month. Its kind of depressing, seeing how its not "brand new"
anymore. But then again, we bought them to drive and thats what we're doing!! And
we are lucky up here in Minnesota, there's lots of fun roads to play on, no problem
giving the car alittle run through the back roads.

No doubt, Ebrian_X2. By the way, I just got back from a little run up to Duluth to do some Hawk-watching at this place called Hawks Ridge. Great little ride. While the point was to see the migrating hawks come along Lake Superior, most people were checking out my MINI!

By the way...I just passed 13,500!! More fun every day. Motor on.

Miles piling up here in Vermont as well, despite the lack of long trips. Longest so far was a couple hundred miles to Maine and back; the rest was all in the local mountains. 7800 miles in four months! Pete

Congratulations for surviving your break-in period, fmiller! Post a picture of your ride if you can. Good luck with your road tour. Fall colors should be awesome. Motor on.
