England Extended Warranty

I am trying to decide whether to buy the extended mini warranty for my wife's (nearly) 3 year old One. Its done 28000 miles and has been very reliable since we bought it just over a year ago. I'll definitely buy AA/RAC cover at c£100 so it would effectively cost her £400 for the warranty...........any thoughts/views?

Yes thats £400 for just 1 year!! Bottom line is I know its a gamble coz if anything does go wrong you are paying BMW labour costs which is the big issue.....now I guess the answer is to find BMW trained technicians running their own small business!! And yes I think I have found one.....Brystone in Totton, Hants.....so that will cover my 320D as well! Sorted!!

welcome, welcome

is that £400 just for a year extra

its a funny old situation really coz if it is just for a year then its a little expensive - however its not if something major went wrong - but then if it did would you want to keep the car anyway?

my car is 4 in march and it will be out of warrenty by then but i may start to look for a newer one (if not brand new ) then

hmmm not much help really was i

Like supa-dupa-cooper I wasn't sure what period this is for. As my M3 was about £400
a year it doesn't sound good value. You can always try one of the independent w/tee
company's if it is just major components you are looking to cover.

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs
