they go for £350 upward on eBay. Like I said you would need a pulley for it alta 15% are the best to fit to a standard car.

Hi Marque, thanks for your lovely reply to my post about my Mini problems. It actually made me feel better. I took my Mini back to the dealer/service people and they said the problem is probably the DME, just as you said. It’s as though you read their minds!
I also took your advice and phoned an automotive advice line. The guy I spoke to wasn’t at all surprised at the recurring problems with the car and even said the warning light may come again even with a new DME.
My Mini has given me great joy. (Notice the use of past tense.) I traded it in on a Honda Civic. Boring but true. The steering froze up as I was driving the Mini to the car room. I know from experience that it’s a couple of grand to get that fixed. The car had serious problems and it was simply too expensive to keep getting it repaired.
