It seems to happen about 5% of the time, often when I'm stopped at a traffic light and am about to shift into first gear.
Is this a common phenomenon, and has it been the subject of a recall or quick-fix that we should be aware of? It seems potentially safety-related, esp. if it causes sudden backing-up --- but since it's intermittent I don't know how to reliably demonstrate it.
