Offline | Hey Guys!! I Know you're out there!! 'cause I've seen you, there are about 10 Minis in Puebla, so I'll make you all a plain and simple question: Why does NOBODY wave or flash other Mini Drivers in this City??? You all should be ashamed of not doing it!!, where's the education you received at home? I'm the Guy in the British R. Green/White Roof Mini and I'm talking to You: Red/white/stripes (guy) Red/Red (guy) Silver/Black MC (chick) Yellow/white MC (chick) Yellow/white/stripes (guy) Black/Black (guy) And a few others rude drivers... NONE of above have ever waved!! Notice to Other Mexican Owners: Those guys carry Puebla plates, so, if you see them, know in advance that they'll not wave back...unfornately they appear to know anything about the history of the car; Just bought it and drove it....sad but true... PLEASE!!, Mex, Mty, Gdl, CnaVca, Vrcz, and other Cities Mini Owners, help me tell the Puebla guys that waving each other is a note of distinction and flair. Paul, The Lonely Mini Driver... Offline | Hey Paul! Sorry to hear about your unsuccesful waving with the local bunch!! I KNOW several Puebla MINI owners that are quite proud of their MINIS and that will not only wave at you but even buy you a pint or two... Look out for crazy Chegamais (a brazilian guy working at VW as a car designer), he is one of the oldest members of the Mexican MINI Club and he is certainly friendly, MINI knowledgeable and permanently living in a couple of scenes of the Italian Job (the 60's version). He drives an Electric Blue S with white stripes, white wheels and 4, 6 (I lost count) driving lights (impossible to miss...) Also, Christian, a cool motorcycle retailer dude who sells bikes for a living, but lives dreaming about his Indy Blue/White Mini Cooper S with driving spots (and a noticeable BMW Motorsport and/or hat on all the time) Come join us at the Club, help us educate other MINI owners in your area by not only waving, but smiling and giving them a BIG thumb up!!! More details on the club at www.mundomini.com Cheers!!! MEXICAN MINI Maniac "As we have seen, you can be at high "tenth values" without going over 50 m.p.h." Denis Jenkinson, in The Racing Driver.

Hey Chegamais: I've never seen you Mini before, when you look at a British R. green/White Mini that's me!; I think you'll agree with me about the fact that there are a lot of dudes which drive the Mini just like another car and know nothing about the "good manners" tradition and the "brotherhood" between Mini owners. About a week ago I had to ran and chase behind a MCS only to wave it's owner, but when I finally got him, he chirp the tires and runaway like if I were going to kidnap him...oh boy.., but not everything is negative, in the morining you can see a Guy in a Yelow/White who waves at me everyday. I hope we can see each other someday. Paul...the lonely Mini driver |
