Hello I just bought my Mini Cooper about six months ago, I was thinking about meeting some new people that liked cars like I do, so since Mini's catch everyones eye I thought that it would be interesting to have a time and place to meet in Baltimore where everyone who has a mini or is getting one could meet to talk about thier Motoring experiences and have a place that they could show off their Motoring gear so if you live in the Baltimore Email me back and maybe we can get somthing started and find a spot that would be ok for everyone I am think that April 23 ant the Canton Waterfront Park would be a nice place because there is a large amout of parking and benches.

Welcome to MINI2!!!

There is a loosely organized group that has held several drives in the Maryland/Virginia/Pennsylvania areas over the past months. Most of us hang out in the Yahoo Users Group "Mid-Atlantic_Minis" - many also hang out on MiniCooperOnline.

The "ringleader" is Lauren (a.k.a. L.Mini).

...but close, in western Maryland...keep us updated...there is only one thing better than a road trip with other MINIs...a road trip TO a road trip with other MINIs...

check out the following two Yahoo! groups. This one, the Mid Atlantic Minis, is in the Baltimore area, but brings in MINI's from Western MD, Delaware, Sterling/Herndon VA, and numerous places in between. Loren or L.Mini is the owner/moderator of this group.

The other group in the DC/Baltimore area is MINI CCA National Capital Chapter. This MINI group operates in roughly the same area just a little further south. Mike or Z3Bum is the owner/moderator of this group.

Most, if not all, group outings are organized and coordinated on these two Yahoo! Groups. I would like to suggest that all interested MINI owners, within shouting distance, to join one or both of these groups.

Between these two groups there is at least one group event each month, sometimes more.

Thanks for the information and links, Paddy. Even though I'm over 100 miles south, I joined the DC group. Because of the distance, I can't make it to all of their meets, but the ones I do go to are great fun! I highly recommend both groups to anyone within driving distance.

I would be interested in meeting. I have been enjoying my Mini for about 3 months now (Indi blue w/black, packages 1,2 and 3, NAV, CVT) I would really enjoy meeting up with other 'Miniacs' in the area. Keep me posted! I live in Ellicott City.

MD MINI, ClalloI, and BDMINI live in Olney, Tom lives in Clarkville, and there are at least one or two more owners somewhere along 108. Please join the http://www.dcmetrominis.org for the second running of Backroads and Battlefields. This is scheduled to take place on the 10th of April. Tom and Aaron are working out the details as I type. Well, maybe not right now, but you get the my drift.

This invite is open to any one in the area, it was a blast and no one got seriously lost.

There is a new group just started in York PA on Yahoo groups, Lilyorkminiclub. we will keep an eye on MINI2 and when you set-up a time for your meet we will try to make a run to join you .

I am in South Baltimore, Ridgelys Delight. I know of one other Mini in my neighborhood.
