Hey, with the Government shut down and many of us staying home I thought we could have a quick, spur of the moment get together. Why not a Bar-B-Q!!! As you can see from the pics below, MoonPie and I are in great shape to host this event - Perhaps Paddy will bring some fine Irish spirits...

The Grill is ready to be fired up...

The deck chairs are waiting for warm buns...

And we have plenty of parking

So come on over...... In a month or so

gas in tank?? We filled ours up last Thursday. Now just wished we had more good stuff to put on the grill and clear pathway to the grill.

What are you serving?

Filled the tank last Summer but did not use too much of it. There is plenty for the crowd I expect

We have salmon and spicy sausage (and even some left over chili!) You bring the burgers and beer! The sun is shining and all is well with the world

I'm actually taking advantage of this day and going to a friends house to brew up 5 gallons of red ale!!! Good drinking about 5 weeks from today

Well, so much for school! Boy do I love blizzards!!

A few years ago we got a snowblower, and it makes things soooo much easier. Look what I would've had to do by hand (not to mention the 800-ft driveway):

Besides a fun walk for MM and I, and a couple of errands, he spent his brew making time up on the roof, yes we have a flat roof,it needed shoveling.

Well, it was a great success!!!, or at least I assume everybody had a good time

I was busy shoveling snow off my flat roof and making sure the plow company was completing their job in our neighborhood correctly

I hope I did not clunk any of you in the head with a pile of snow pushed off the roof...
