The PITTSTOP MINI CLUB and MINI of Pittsburgh (MoP) would like to invite fellow MINI enthusiasts to our March event. I realize it is short notice but anyone who is interested is welcome to join the fun!

Event: A drive through some back roads of the North Hills with the destination being MINI of Pittsburgh (MoP) to help celebrate their 1 Year Birthday Bash!
Date: Saturday, March 22nd.
Time: Assemble starting at 12:30 PM, leave around 1 PM
Start Point: Kings Restaurant parking lot at I-79 and Rt. 910 in Wexford.

This is a FREE event, and is open to both members and non-members! Families are welcome. MoP will provide complimentary food and beverages. We have arranged with MoP to have MINIs in the service bays and a technician (or two?) on hand to give you a mechanical perspective of a MINI. Anyone interested is welcome to attend an orientation and question/answer session. Both novices and "gear heads" should find this interesting and informative. Before and after that we can spend time mingling and starting to form new friendships.

Since MOTORING is key to the MINI experience, we thought we would all MOTOR to the dealership together. We will gather in the Kings Restaurant parking lot at I-79 and Rt. 910 in Wexford. (Northeast corner of the interchange).

Oh, if any of you don't get a chance to wash your baby before the drive, get there a few minutes early and there is a touchless car wash just up the hill from the Kings where we will meet. Just $5-$8 gets you a halfway decent wash and wax (if you spring for the $8) and you won't have to worry about being asked to take up the rear of the motorcade! We'll enjoy checking out each others cars while we wait to leave.

Our club's motto is, or should be: "The shortest distance between 2 points is no fun!" So we found an indirect route that should prove quite fun. We have selected a route through some winding back roads that lead through the North Hills. Parading our MINIs through the middle of Sewickley and some of the other small towns on a Saturday afternoon should be good for turning a few heads! Some of the twisties might prove good for churning a few stomachs!!!

We expect to reach MoP around 2:30 PM. If you can't make the drive portion of the event (shame on you! ) we'll look forward to meeting up with you at MoP around then.

P.S. Please RSVP and let us know how many people you will have along so we can give MoP an idea of how much food to order. MoP customers will probably also get a direct invitation from the dealership but please DO NOT RSVP to MoP even if their letter requests it: we will report our numbers to them since we don't want to duplicate replies. • Rod Woodson - Oakland Raider, former Steeler, and MINI owner will be at the dealership in the afternoon to sign autographs.
  
• WDVE DJ Michelle Michaels will be broadcasting live from MoP from 9am - 12pm.
