Offline | Donna, I also mentioned this on the Mid_atlantic Mini yahoo board but I am coming. More than likely will have a co-pilot also. I too just bought some new radios (not for this trip though, more for logistical use at the Italian Job Movie Rally). A pair of Motorola T7200's (2 watts baby!). This brings my total radio count up to 10 (6 FRS and 4 FRS/GMRS). Some would say that I am obsesive about having the "newest technology". I will throw them all the in car when I come down for Cooter's Run for use by the rally group. See you soon. 2003 Mini Cooper PW/B -- Click to see my Photo Galleries |

Offline | GMini03, I live just outside Philadelphia. Perhaps, depending on how and when you are coming down, we could meet up at a reststop and cruise down together. We could probably scoop up a few other Mini's in the process. I am not sure at this point weather I am coming down the night before or that Saturday morning. Reminds me: Donna, anywhere good (and cheap) to stay overnight near Sterling? Any local do-it-yourselfer carwashes in that area? - Driving_Hamster 2003 Mini Cooper PW/B -- Click to see my Photo Galleries |

| MINI2 Senior | I'll have to check on the car wash thing. I know there is one a few miles from Sterling MINI but it's not a do it yourself - it's $8. And nothing is cheap around here as far as hotels. We have a guest room that is free - if you can stand cats and a bit of crazyness!!! Chow! | MINI2 Regular | I stayed at a Hampton near Sterling and it was fairly cheap. Not $29 Motel 6 type cheap, but only around $45 for a nice king. We were willing to pay a bit more to be close to our destination that trip. With Dulles airport being so close and the travel industry in such sorry shape, i'd bet you could find a decently priced room. |
