Just curious if anyone is going to attend the Virginia Festival of Speed at VIR this weekend. I'll be at my usual spot this Sunday near turns 4-5.

teridrag - VIR is a natural terrain 3.27 mile raod course in Alton, Virginia (just across the border from Milton, NC) that holds SCCA meets, historic racing, grand am and motorcycle racing. This weekend is a motorcycle meet (the HSR meet is 7/11 - 7/13). What is terrific about VIR is that you can park most anywhere you want and you have full access to the paddock area.

From Raleigh, you basically take 501 North to 57 North which runs right to the entrance roads to the track. Their web site is virclub.com; I'm sure there are directions on that from all points.

i'll be at the BMW CCA driving school there this weekend. anyone else gonna have a MINI there?
