Offline | I use a bell south able to read only solid digit channels. No problem whatsoever at meets and super cheap. But the lay of the land is motorolla motorolla motorolla cuz it's a little stronger, a little louder and it has subchannel capabilities. Regardless, a solid non-subchannel channel is chosen for universal participation. Everty meet I've been to uses Channel 7. (except MOT and what do they know?) ![]() NY/NE Mod |

Offline | g, I don't mean to get offtopic here, but my biggest quandry is the exhaust. I was very much leaning towards the Quicksilver with the single oval outlet. It looks and sounds beautiful IMHO. Will anyone on this Get-Together have one of those to listen to? |

Offline | I got mine at Kmart. 2 Bell South rechargeable GMRS/FRS 5-mile range radios, not too expensive, maybe $70-$80. They work great, hold the charge all day and I always have an extra one to lend out. |

Offline | [quote]Originally posted by mini1ang do you need a list of who wants to come for "registering" purposes, or do you just want people to come? I plan to attend and can't wait. thanks for putting this together. [/QUOTE Just come. I want to be surprised at how many cars show up (i think there are going to be a lot of us!!!). Before we start motoring, I will get a headcount for those that will want to go to dinner after the ride and call the restaurant to let them know. I will leave a few copies of the route at the White Rose Cafe, so if you come late, just grab a route and see if you can find us along the way. We'll have the radios on Channel 7, sub 0. |

Offline | I don't know about the Qsilver, for sure there will be MSCs with Borlas and Magnaflows in attendance. I'd like to hear the Qsilver, too. Where in central NJ do you live? I'm in New Brunswick. |

Offline | I have Audiovox radios, they were a gift. They work fine, I've used them at 2 meets so far. If they're an option and cheaper, don't hesitate. Great package, rechargeable batteries, charger for household outlet and cigarette lighter, headsets, leatherette cases, and clips. |

Offline | Harmini, I am in western central NJ. If you were to start at the starting point of this event and head due north for about 40 minutes, you would pass by my house. How is this for prep for this event:
