Offline | The autocross was a blast!! My first timed trials were pretty wimpy. Then I rode as a passenger in the car of the guy who ultimately had the best non-modified MCS time as well as the best overall time. Aha!! I saw the light. The rest of the time was burning rubber, squealing tires and ABS activation!! My first trial after riding shotgun with him was over 5 seconds better than my previous ones!!! By 3 more trials I had shaved another second off of my time. And guys, you definitely don't need an MCS for this stuff!! See you tomorrow. |

Offline | First off, I would like to Thank Debbie and her Husband for doing such a nice job organizing this event. Also, the other volunteers and sponsors and vendors who without their help and support none of what we had the last two days would be possible. I speak as only a participant in these events. But I know, some of the nicest people are met only from coming together with a common interest. It is truly the great ICE Breaker when meeting people, I can only reflect back on this experience now and wait till the next one comes around. THANK YOU ALL---- FOR GIVING ME A VERY PLEASANT WEEKEND Tony |

Offline | Yes, the autocross was a blast. I had never done it before and wondered what to expect. Could I do it, and would my CVT Cooper be at all competitive? Yes, and yes! (I even won one of the nice prize plaques). Thanks so much to Debbie and Rich for all your hard work in putting this together. To meet all these Mini people, and to watch the cars, both Mini and MINI, whizzing round the little circuit, was huge fun. Special commendations to the instructors, who were so tolerant and helpful to us novices, to Melinda and all the other helpers.
