Just wondering if there is any MINI car club or owners group in the York,Lancaster, or Harrisburg area? I have a 2004 CR/W MCS on order for delivery Oct. 5th +/-.

I'm in York, PA, and i've only seen about 6-10
Mini's around here, but every month or so, a
new one appears. I'm hoping there's enough
around to form a group.

Well by the first week or so of October you should be seeing my CR/W MCS motoring around York. I also live in York(born & raised).
Which Mini is yours? I see a few around town, but not to many. Hopefully we can round up enough people to get something started.

I've had my car since May 2002. I've done "runs" with the Baltimore (mid atlantic minis) group, the Metro DC (DCMetroMinis.org) group and the newly formed philly group (plus running the Dragon in May).

All have yahoo discussion groups.

I have a BRG/BRG MC with 16" SSR GT1's (7 holes 15's in winter)
that frequents the york hospital and mt. wolf area. There's a
LY/W MCS that parks at the Coca Cola plant on e market st.,
a BRG/B MC also at york hospital, and I've seen a pepper white/black
MC, a blue/white M?, a silver/black M?, and a silk green/white M?.

I think I saw your MC sitting at Square Deal Garage on South Queen St. several weeks ago. I live just around the corner from there. I believe I've seen most of the cars you mentioned as well as a new BRG/B MCS running around the south end of town the last several weeks. I'm not sure how to contact these people to see if there is any interest. Any ideas?

Born & raised in York (Springettsbury Twp/Central York) too - although I moved across the river in 1975! Rest of family still lives over there though.

I'm thinking about going to the Taste Of Britain show on sunday. Unfortunately my mini is still in the parts bins in Oxford! Do any of you know what time the show opens on sunday?

I checked out the Lancaster Co. MG Club link and I see Sally Harbold is the president of the club. She and Jim are friends of ours from church. Jim is the one who told me about the show on sunday. Hopefully I'll see some of you mini2 people at the show.

Hey Everyone!

We also have started a local area group on Yahoo to keep all of the events consolidated in 1 place.

Might be helpful if you also went there (joined, of course) and sent out a notice to the members about this event too! You might get more people to come West for it!

Go to www.groups.yahoo.com/group/phillymini and sign up, then you can put the event in the calendar section, and also send out a broadcast email to the entire group!
