Well, this never materialized, BUT I did manage to find a drive-in at the end of last season that might be interested. I'll have to look into it again in about 8 weeks! | MINI-EVENT TEASER: The ORIGINAL Italian Job on the BIG SCREEN Did you know that the ORIGINAL Italian Job with Michael Caine, theatrically released on September 3, 1969 is being RE-RELEASED on DVD/VHS on October 7, 2003. How would you like to see this movie on the BIG SCREEN, like many of us did for the new Italian Job earlier this summer? I have been working with a venue in Center City Philadelphia, PA that loves this idea. We are working out some logistics and expect to have some definitive details for you guys within the next two weeks. I don't want to let the cat totally out of the bag just yet...when I get the go-ahead, I'll let you all know the details of this fun-filled evening! | In 1999 for the 30th anniversary the original was given a (limited) cinema re-release. Nothing like seeing a film you have seen so many times on the small screen being shown on a big screen !  |

| sorry too far to drive from eastern Canada - I bought the DVD in the UK last year, having watched it first time round when I had a "real" cooper S (Mk 1 Paddy Hopkirk)....still don't like the ending! |
