MINI2

After much anticipation and counting down, my Mini arrived at Princeton BMW/Mini this past week and I picked it up on Friday. I couldn't be happier with it, and I've already driven about 270 miles, most of them for no apparent reason. (The only problem I had is that they didn't program the daytime running lamps to be on as I had requested, and they programmed the auto door-locks to be on instead of off. Both those things are going to be corrected though.) I'd really like to get involved with local and regional Mini events, and would appreciate hearing from other local Mini owners. (I'm in Doylestown, PA) Let's drive!!!!

Hey jdiver!

You live right down the road from me. I'm in Solebury, just outside of New Hope on the back roads. There was a meet this summer which began in Yardley and went up River Road into Frenchtown and above. You familiar with that? Gorgeous.

Anyway, nice to know you're around. If anything comes up, you are sure to find it posted on Mini2. Btw, I got my Mini in Princeton also. Got any pics?

Thanks to everyone for the replies, and sorry for my delay in replying back. I've been too busy driving, which must be a good excuse on this site, right?

I need to take some pics this week and post them.

ruthie- I grew up on Wismer Rd in Carversville. My parents still live there, and that Mini meet went right by their house. My mom was home at the time and called to give me a play-by-play. "There goes a yellow one with a black roof, now a blue one with a blue roof..." etc, etc, etc. I was SOOO wishing I had mine and was in that line of Minis! Next time though for sure!
