Being a new Mini owner

, I get very excited when I "spy" another Mini driver! I've seen these folks since adopting Verde on January 29, 2004:

Battlefield Blvd S, Ches (too excited to see what color, lol);
Indi Blue/Indie Blue - Corner of Kempsville Rd & VA Beach Blvd on Tuesday afternoon;
Dark silver/Black - Cedar Road, Ches yesterday morning;
Electric Blue/White Battlefield Blvd N, near the Great Bridge bridge this morning.

I just finished reading all five pages of this thread - and am even more excited to gather! Now if I could just stay off eBay and stop buying extras for me and Verde! (Hubby doesn't need to know about all the gadgets I've been finding.

Has the date of the next Fun Run been solidified yet? Last I saw it was still being debated.

I thought there was a new DS/DS MCS in my parking garage at work, but I have only seen it once. Guess that means there's still only two of us

We parked next to a DS/B Mini at the Navy Exchange yesterday afternoon - I made hubby park next to it. Then, on our way out, we saw a PW/B one sitting all by its lonesome.

Two in ONE day! That is a record so far, lol!

(Yes, hubby drove my car yesterday. Then we had a talk on how to treat Verde - i.e., he needs to shift sooner, don't rev engine too high, slow down on corners... I don't know when he'll be allowed to sit in the driver's seat again.)

Ian saw a CR/CR MCS parked at a house in Riverwalk this afternoon. The house is for sale. When Ian asked if I was interested, I told him "only if the MCS is included with it!!"

Got passed this morning( 5:15 a.m.) on the 168 bypass heading North around the Battlefield Blvd N exit by a Silver w/b MCS he honked and kept on scooting. By the time I realized who was honking and woke up he was two car lengths ahead of me..... but I did honk back!! So if your reading this SORRY!!!

this morning on 264 on my way to work. He got off on the 264/64 exchange, heading toward NOB. He did wave as he blew by me on the inside lane (and I was doing 70+)!

I saw a CR/B yesterday about 1p on Kempsville Road near Greenbrier Parkway. I didn't get a chance to honk or wave since I was turning and would have clearly caused an accident with my own Mini, lol.

Yesterday was a good day for MINIs. First, saw a PW for sale at the Buick dealer on VA Beach Blvd. Then, saw a VR near Witchduck Rd. Next, saw a yellow MCS parked near the Fuddruckers in Chesapeake. And last, saw a DS on the way home on the bridge.

BTW, the SG that was for sale at the VW dealer is gone now.

Mini Bonanza!! There are 2 MCS's both CPR/W along with a MC yellow/White plus mine in the parking lot at work right now....... I work on the Norfolk Naval Air Station as a contractor with Locklheed Martin, fixing the E2C Hawkeye Flight SImulators.
