| British Garden Party and Fete Our Church here in Timonium MD - St Stephens Traditional Episcopal Church is putting on a British Garden Party and Fete on Saturday 1st May. It's the second one they've had and it has all things typically British such as afternoon teas in the Church Hall, lots of races for mums & dads and children (3 legged, egg & spoon, wheelbarrow etc), a bouncy castle, side shows ( name the doll, chocolate board, spin the wheel etc) vintage cars and other things which at the moment I can't think of. Anyway I was thinking that it would be rather nice if we could have a 'Best Turned Out MINI' Competition. I know May 1st clashes with the Dragon Run but any of you who aren't going and who would like to have a fun day showing off your MINI with the possibility of winning a prize ( I'm going to contact Towson MINI to see if they're prepared to put something up) why not come along. Email me at anneandbill.hawkins@comcast.net if you want to come or if you want more info Bill Bill BRG/W MCS with UJ decal & white bonnet stripes |

| Well it turned out to be a great day,. We had 5 Minis (one supplied by MINI Towson), 2 Morgans, one TR3, a 1938 Jaguar SS, A Willeys Jeep, a model T and another US car. We had lots to eat, English pub grub and and English Tea Room and plenty of fun for the kids, not to mention the Mums & Dads (glamourous grandmother & knobbly kness to name but a few!)
