Offline | There's another 04 Chili Red MINI not too far from me in Chester. He sponsored the pulley party in April (just before I got my MINI )Our MINIs could be visual twins except that he has white wheels and I have silver. Also, in Colonial Heights, there's a yellow Cooper that sells real estate. I see her cruising around from time to time. His - 04 CR/W MCS Hers - 05 BEP/W MCS |

Offline | I've recently been seeing an EB/W S at American Family Fitness in Short Pump. Saturday I saw a BRG/B Cooper at the bank but it had SC plates and a MINI of Charleston front plate. Two of my co-workers have MINIs also: one PS/PS Cooper S (non-Works) and a PS/B Cooper. Go figure, we all have the same color car ![]() 08 Smart ForTwo Passion Silver/Black/Red (Going on Ebay!) 07 Honda Accord V6 6-speed Taffeta White/Tan (wife's) 06 MINI Cooper S JCW Checkmate Astro Black/Silver ![]() |

Offline | Right now there really isnt any Richmond Based Mini clubs. But there are the two that i visit alot.. The DC Metro MINI's and the Hampton Minis. Both of which can be an hour - 2 hour drive. I started this thread in the hopes of finding more Mini2ers in this area so a Club can be formed. Who know we may just start something.. but thats another story Have fun, Be safe and Keep MOTOV8N 02 MCS DS/W (Totaled November 02 on Fall Folage Run) 03 MCS DS/W (See my MINI Profie for extensive list of mods) |

Offline | Oh i didnt miss it.. just need your impression of it. The device im working on is a complete on-board bypass of the bypass. That way i dont have to wait for the SC to kick-in as it were at the launch. But Still can return it to normal for regular cruising to save fuel. 02 MCS DS/W (Totaled November 02 on Fall Folage Run) 03 MCS DS/W (See my MINI Profie for extensive list of mods) |

Offline | Truthfully, I can't really tell any difference. But it was such a PITA to install, I left it in. I was hoping it might have had some dampening effect on the yo-yo, but no such luck. I'm interested in hearing more about what you're doing though. Vacuum hoses routed to the interior with a clamp on it? I have no real idea. Can you explain it to me at the ice cream social? Offline | Sure i can explain.. just tring to fine all the parts i need. 1) inline T 2) Electric controled Valve. As used on Air suspension on the Ricers. 3) filter for end of said valve. 4) wire to conect to switch 5) Switch (already have mounted in the interior.) 6) Small child contorsionist to put contraption inplace. That hose is just a pain to get to. A theory i have. is on a good launch and then the engine bogges down to below the 2k mark. for what ever reason. The bypass is opening back up making the situration worse. I could be completly wrong on this. might not. Im wanting to place the valve as close to the T as possible. The length of hose makes a difference in the amount of suction needed to operate the Bypass valve.. Running a hose to the interior and putting a clamp on it may just be too long of a run for the valve itself to work normally. We can go further into this at the meeting. 02 MCS DS/W (Totaled November 02 on Fall Folage Run) 03 MCS DS/W (See my MINI Profie for extensive list of mods) |
