| A reply to what you said.. Great!!! I will be running  another prerun soon and will bring back pictures to post to see if I can twist your arm a little more  . | As Promised! AWESOME ROADS!  Before I go in detail.. I want to give a HUGE thanks to Heather ~htrout13~ for tagging along and getting car sick while driving her own car on these backroads  .. Pre-run #1 has been completed and here are the pictures.. There are tons of great roads with a bunch of nice twisties and sweeping curves.. see photos below with a link to full gallery with high res pics. This is a bit of a technical run and takes some good planning to pull it off since we are deep into the woods and farmlands.. I may put a cap on the amount of people that can come just so we can fully enjoy the scenery without having to wait for 35 cars behind us.. Any thoughts on that???  From climbing mountainside roads to twisting your way back down to the valley this route is perfect for taking in the magnificent Fall Colors  and scratching your itch for motoring some winding and twisty back roads .So here are the pics and be sure to see the first post for details etc and let me know you are coming via email.. | Craig, your pre-run sampling looks great Any roads that can make someone hurl have got to be fun ! (sorry Heather ! ) Unfortunately (?) there is an informal gathering developing at the Dragon the following weekend, and I may need to make a choice.  In case I can do both, can you give me a better idea of starting and ending locations - and will there be a post-event dinner ? |

| You should just meet up with me on the Dragon not this Friday coming but the next to discuss! I am going with my brother who will be driving <if you call that driving> his wifes new Miata. PM me if you are or can be free and want to tag along.. thinking of doing the Cherohala too. But as far as starting and ending location.. It starts in Frenchtown NJ and ends in Stroudsburg PA. You live so close to the Dragon you can do that anytime! I think you should come up this way...  But understand your delima.. | Many thanks to Craig and all of his helpers in executing a fantastic fall rally! We had the best of everything, charming towns, beautiful scenery, great roads, an excellent dinner.....I loved how the driving was broken up by our mini hikes, Bushkill Falls is definitely a place I'll return to. Of course, great MINI/Mini enthusiasts and friends, what would the cars be without the people? Keep Motoring!! |
